1) General Requirements
① Installation work should be carried out from top to bottom to avoid three-dimensional cross operations, preventing injury and equipment damage.
② When two or more people are installing or operating the same equipment, a call-and-response system should be established.
③ When setting or positioning equipment, feet should not be placed underneath the equipment to prevent crushing injuries.
④ When using a wrench, it is not allowed to use a pipe as an extension.
2) Safety Precautions to Note During Cable Construction:
① Before excavating the cable trench, understand the burial conditions of underground facilities and take measures to prevent damage to underground facilities or electric shock accidents.
② Before laying the cable, the cable drum should be securely set up, and any protruding nails on the cable drum should be removed to prevent injury during rotation.
③ When manually laying cables, the weight each person carries should not exceed 35kg. All personnel should stand on the same side of the cable, and at corners, they should stand on the outer side. When laying cables underground, they should be gently placed down in order, not randomly.
④ When laying cables, do not walk within 0.5m of the edge of a trench that may collapse. When laying cables at wall holes, trench openings, pipe openings, and partitions, personnel should stay more than 1m away from the openings.
⑤ When stripping the cable's jute, gloves and masks should be worn during armoring to prevent asphalt poisoning.
⑥ When laying cables in corrosive environments, intermediate joints should not be made.
